At the Austin GDC (Game Developers Conference), The Inquirer is reporting that Blizzard third project codename "Hydra" was picked up in a conversation between two Blizzard employees at the event grounds.

There is some resemblance with Starcraft II who was codenamed "Medusa" before the official announce.

Now, its all about speculation but according to Tigole, Blizzard future could be MMO : "As far was working on another MMO project or a WoW 2, obviously as a company we'd be very interested in further exploring the MMO space" (Source); also on the job opportunity page Blizzard is hiring for a Next-Gen MMO.

neppe. Blizzard har sagt før at det nye spele ikkje har noke med Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo etc å gjere. Det skal vere noke helt helt nytt

Ingenting enda faktisk. Men jeg har skifta mening. Tror det er et onlinespill, men en helt ny franchise, skal man tro ryktene i alle fall.
